Storage of CO2 in the deep ocean sediment as frozen hydrate is proposed by a Harvard University group House at al 2006 Note, this is generally preceived to be aginst international law and has numerous technical problems, so is very unlikely to be viable before 2015 or later. There are no UK or European propositions for this
