The UK CCS Community Network hosted a biannual meeting at the University of Leeds on 14-15 September 2010 bringing together all fields of CCS research in addition to representatives from government and industry.

The meeting provided networking opportunities amongst CCS researchers and interested non-academics, updated delegates on recent developments in academic research in CCS and reinforced links between the project teams.

The focus of the Leeds meeting was on EU-funded research and projects. Recent findings were presented from a handful of Framework Programme CCS-relevant projects with UK involvement and presentations were given on the European Economic Recovery Plan (EERP) funded CCS demonstration projects.
